How do I find out what's new so I'm not always left out of the conversation?

I'm a 13 year old boy who is so socially retarded! I don't find out about things until they're gone! I need help on how i can find out about these things, or just not be such a queer. I get called Dora by this stupid asian named Danny Ngo! Any way i can make him stop would be NICE TO KNO! Please!!! I'm in desperate need of social help!!
